straight pipe
straight pipe
Hi, I have a 99 F250 V10 and I am thinking about removing the cat and running a straight pipe. Will this have any bad effects on the truck as far as running poorly? Any ideas on sound

It will definitely make it a lot louder, but the V10 often sounds strange if it gets too loud, especially if the cat is missing. I would recommend going with a smaller yet sufficient cat instead. That way you can get more sound, but it will be moderated.

That would be my truck ... the video likes, ratings and comments show some like the sound of it.
I have others videos of it with different setups I tried before settling with the straight setup.
