Well this weekend has been very very productive. I have had a buddy and petty officer of the navy at my house for a week to hang out and chill. Found out my EGR was trying to take a crap on the diesel. Bought the EGR delete kit and found a dude close on craigslist that could install it for 300$ including the gaskets. So I had him tackle it friday morning. During the install, we found out the boot on the turbo was cracked in half......NO wonder this truck felt so slow and like a dog. My boots was leaking all out. Well fixed that with the tension system too and EGR taken care of. Boy I have a different truck now, this sucker screams with power and very happy. Still have sunday to go to church and relax. Good evening TN..........
Well the weekend turned south at the very last minute. Was over at my parents house to patch their pool liner and install a bracket on the hot tub, when I found my mom in the bathroom with dad over looking her. She was throwing up blood, white at a ghost, shaking like mad and with a 103 temp. She just about fell going to sit on the chair and looks horrible. I knew something was wrong bad (she is a nurse) when she said she was scared........called 911 to get her to the hospital fast. I knew I couldnt get her in my truck without causing more pain. They came in timely manner and rolled on. I shuttled the family in the diesel with the wigwags blowing and right behind the ambulance.
Well she is stable and getting tons of tests done. Sounds like possible cold in her lung but waiting for tests and scans to come back.
If you are a praying person, please add my mom Karen to your list...........peace

Like wise as Chris mention;
Scott glad to hear your mom's stable; And hopefully test will result in a solution to her illness. We will be praying for a speedy recovery, my brother!
Thanks guys......I somehow got some sleep last night, but still at my ends wit. I guess things tend to hit in 3's......first find out have to put the dog down soon, then EGR craps out and then mom gets ill.
Well good morning to all and pray the day gets better........peace
Boy I hope July & August aren't as humid as June been! Darn near pass out myself yesterday; pulling a Dana 60 from a salavage yard truck.
