i just got a call to wire in a complete sound system (headunit, speakers, amp, and sub) on a 85 F250. im gonna charge 150 bucks. dam its really looking good for me.
nflfreak43...that is great news! You and maples01 have a skill I'm envious of. I have never been very handy around electrical stuff. I can do simple 1 or 2 wire jobs, but the complicated jobs I leave for someone who knows what they're doing.
And thanks to everyone who voted for my truck...tied for first! You guys (and gals) rock!!!
I've added 80 LEDs to decorative panels I placed on my ceiling, hooked to a relay that is triggered by my interior lights, I even put a switch in my side door panel on the door plunger to override my interior lights, so the door can be left open without the lights being left on. I installed a stereo system in it a few years ago, I redid it last month, making the wiring a little neater under the sofa/bed in the rear with my power inverter. It's not hard at all, anyone can do it, just be certain that everywhere it runs through a metal wall, there is a sleeve so the metal doesn't cut through the insulation and ground it out.
Well it is evening time here in TN. I have done absolutely nothing today other than minor cleaning and some shopping. My chest is full of crap from head cold/sinus. I have no energy to do nothing and watching Barrett Jackson auction hehe.
I spent most of the day watching TV....started with World Cup (US lost a heartbreaker) and then The Exterminator marathon, while cleaning up all the piles of paper that needed filing. I did water the estate very early in the morning and snagged two cucumbers and a zucchini, so it wasn't a totally wasted day.
And my truck is now in first place by one vote! Thanks, again!!!!
Well played hookie from church, since all that crud is coming out of my chest. Going to try to head to parents house for lunch and maybe swim some, if I feel like it.
May be "off subject", BUT i've got 2 or 3 pickup loads of fire wood cut & ready to split that I need moved - U-Haul = it's yours. Got toooo much and need to get it out of the yard. We may even help you load it. Just give me a call = in the Unicoi phone book on Stephenson Rd just south of Springbrook / off Marbleton.
maples01 - Not hickory. 2 or 3 pickup loads of fire wood. I got (the same as) dump truck loads of fire wood this spring when a neighbor removed some BIG trees. I'm tired of spliting wood AND have a surplus for this coming winter < maybe the next winter too. Would make a good heat fr snuggling in cold weather. Just need it moved.....
