Heat, heat, and more heat. It's 84 in the mountains...and sunny...and I love it.

Evening all. Tape job held up to get me home without turning my left rocker panel into a flying spear, so now I need to find something more secure than that til I can find a welder.

Evening Shaun and Chris.

Chris - I kept thinking "man, this thing is going to turn into a flying spear through someone's windshield at some point..." but it never did. I have some means to wire it into place so hopefully that will hold it more firmly until I can get someone to weld these panels in for me.

If it were me, I would just remove it so then you don't have to worry about it flying off.

My concern is there's no rocker panel behind it. Not sure how good that will look or if any cop might get a wild hair about that. I'll have to look at it more in the morning and see what I want to do here.

Gonna go grab something to eat, be back in a few.

ya know bill, even with no rocker panel, as long as the rocker is the only real bad part, you should be fine.
