I've searched, but haven't come across this yet. I have a 1996 F350 crew cam, power door locks work like a charm, doors unlock with the key, my problem is the previous owner removed all the pull levers in the top of the door panels used to unlock the doors from the inside. I need to know how to replace these parts. I know I can get what I need from the dealer, but can someone give me a little guidance on how to fix this once I get the parts. I can't get to anything inside the rear doors without drilling out all the rivets and removing my windows/regulators.
Do you mean that the door lock ***** are missing? If so, you can still push the rod down to lock the door. Pulling the handle up should unlock them anyway. To replace them just get some ***** off of NPD, LMC, Ebay, or salvage yard and screw them back on.
my rear door lock will not push down or pull up door is permently locked/shut. will not open with lever. i too would like any info on this matter. 97 f30 crewcab dually power locks/windows
