Acquired a cheap breaker and expensive ($10) pipe (cheater) at the Depot tonight. I'll give her a rip against 2nd gear and see if I can get anywhere first thing tomorrow morning.
If that doesn't work, I'll get my next door neighbor involved. There's no way I don't have enough leverage now - it's just a question of holding the socket on the nut at this point. Doubt 2nd gear will go or I'll pull her over the blocks she's held with.

Wish me luck...
A 1/2" impact gun will usually take this bolt off without this kind of fuss. If nothing else go rent one or even a 3/4" drive model.
If thats a Craftsman ratchet you don't need to worry, get rid of that long extension and just use a Harley tool on it, a/k/a BFH. If the ratchet breaks Sears will replace it.
Yeah, it's a Craftsman: God Bless 'Em. Darned expensive, but worth it vs. that garbage they sell at the Depot. I've broken their stuff from time to time, but it sure is nice beating on your socket with a ball peen hammer knowing that even if it does break, it's just a trip to Sears before you have a new one in your hand.
3 1/2 foot cheater plus a breaker did the trick. I had to pull pretty hard (wiggled the truck in the direction of uphill), but she finally slipped. I get past the balancer and am finally in position to get a wire brush up against the front side of my engine.
Thanks to everyone for helping out the new guy figure out how to loosen a fastener.
