timing marks

I'm putting a 352 in my 1950 F-1. The engine came with a 3 groove pulley on the crankshaft. I'm not running power steering or AC so I only need one groove. I took off the 3 groove pulley and found a single groove harmonic balancer. The trouble I have is there are no timing marks on the harmonic balancer.

There are, but it's most likely covered in rust and scale. Clean it off with a wire brush and remark it with a paint pen or chalk.
