CRAIGSLIST FIND!

Found this push bar yesterday bringing a 7 year search to an end!

Ended up buying two lund visors, one F-250 73-79, one ford ranger 83-92, two fenders 73-79 in great shape, explorer/ranger dash, a 80-86 f150 radiator *new* , and the brush guard for $100!!!

Anyone need(wanna buy) a radiator, or a ranger visor! lol

I have a brush guard EXACTLY like that, and I want to take it off... are these in demand or something? I don't really like it, but that's just my style. I want my truck to be nice and clean across the front, no lights.

Push Bar

I have seen two types of Ford factory push bars offered by Ford for 78-79 trucks and broncos, this type you have is for what year truck? What year is your truck. Did you say you want to part with it?

Really???

This style is the only "FACTORY" installed bumper guard I know of.

I have seen "DEALER" installed ones that were a differant style. More like a traditional brush guard.

Maybe "Number Dummy" can help with this one!

Hey, It would be greatly appreciated if you could post a pic of the Lunds visor you bought. Can't really find a good one online.

Just for you OneTuff.

Heres some good info on the factory push bars:

This is a factory correct push bar for the 78-79 Bronco's:

There was an early style bar like this that fit the 77 style bumper.

Mounts for a 77 model bumper:

Mounts for the 78-79 bumper:

You can see the difference in the way the top mount plate is bent. The problem comes when trying to mount the bottom bolts. 77 style on a 78-79 truck:

It just won't work. So best bet is to match up the style of the upper mounting plate, by the pics it looks like an early model, and if you plan on using it on a 78-79 forget about it.

Been running one of these on my crewcab for a few years, also have a spare. It is tougher than it looks. Always pushing stuff with it and even wrapping chains around it to pull stuff around the yard.

The spare is not for sale btw
Yes it is for a 78-79. These use the factory carriage bolts, just take the four off and push these through. Dont have any good picts of it, can get tomorrow.
