ignition problems
Hello I have been having ignition problems for quite sometime and thought it was the clutch safety switch but found out today that it is not the starter will not turn over when i turn the key but if i turn the steering wheel to the right the truck will start up just wondering if this is an ignition problem or something else any help would be appreciated thankyou

Sounds like an ignition switch/column problem. Thats where I would begin my search but there are members here that are true experts and have probably dealt with a similar problem and will likely chime in soon enough. Welcome to FTE!

Ok so i bought an key ignition from auto zone put it in and everything worked fine only started it about ten times but the next day i went out and it would not start again I have a 91 ford f250 with a fixed steering wheel and 5.8 motor. I think maybe the ignition i bought from autozone already went to crap but im not sure anyone got any ideas
