But I have noticed, say in the last 5 or 6 months, that my truck simply does not regen very much. It is very noticeable when it happens so I don't think I am just not noticing. But I literally think I have only done a regen maybe twice in 6 months! It used to be quit a bit more often. I drive maybe 800 miles a month for perspective, mixture of in-town and highway.
I have also noticed my MPGs from the lie-o-meter maybe an average of 1-2 MPG down from where they used to be, but attributed that to my new Mud-Terrain tires.
What do you think?
Should I just bite the bullet and get the Spartan DPF delete like I want? (Am only delaying because the aluminum in my Blackstone oil report was a little high)
Should I get it checked? (Take off my Banks tuner first...)
you have two options with the banks 6-gun. Either a switch, a simple **** to up the settings or it you have the Banks IQ. A PDA of sorts but much more. this you can read guages and change the settings plus videos, GPS and microsoft office.
How do you know what level you are set at ? is there a way to set it
Only because at first I thought the same thing, Senix and I are talking about the Banks tuner, not a setting for regen.
@Senix
I don't tow a whole lot, but usually switch to 4 for that. I like how level 6 performs the most, but it is hard to tell between 4 and 6 which gets the best mileage. Banks originally said that people tend to get the best MPG on 4.

I tried to tow on 4 but I think that is a little much when you are grossing over 22K.
Iknow a guy that regens every 800 miles or so and his pipes are black, sooty, and there is a puff of black smoke every time he moves from a stop.
My truck regens every 150 or so when I tow and my pipes are amazingly clean.
They perform identically, very minimal different feel to them, nothing really gets your attention when you drive them both back to back. Very frustrating to try to figure out.

I'd swear that you were talking about mine it regens between 650/700 miles since the reflash last year which is a tank of fuel, I have a 52 gal Titan tank.
