Transmission Questions

Is there a gasket between the block and the transmission? And does anyone know where to get a exploded view of the transmission in a 1995 F150 XLT/ Thanks!

There is not a gasket between the engine and trans.

If you have oil leaking from that area, it is probably a rear main seal in the engine.

Speaking of which, what engine and transmission?

Thanks, whats leaking is trans fluid. and it's a 5.0 and I think it's a AODE

google search "aode exploded view". Closest I can get is:

IMO you need a shop manual if you are going to tackle a rebuild, as the exploded view won't necessarily give you the info you need, like sequence of assembly, torque specs, tolerences etc.
