Power windows are GREAT if they work well. My driver's side is puked and my passenger side works as the OP described. It'll go down with the quickness, but back up is slower than death. Stabbing speed not found. I had to help pull it up Saturday night. My wife mentioned converting to manual crank windows. I'm pretty sure my entire window track system in each door needs to be renovated. Should be loads of fun.

Sounds like yours need the same fix mine did. Dont hesitate to do it. The first one I did probly took an hour of monkeyin around including doing a bout 3 other things at the same time lol. The other side took about 20 minutes.
Also, the passenger window used to get half jammed and crooked about 3/4 of the way down. It goes straight up and strait down now.
Did you replace all of the window tracks / seals / weather stripping on both sides? Mine needs it bad. My passenger window is missing half of that stuff. I'm pretty sure my driver's side motor is puked because it doesn't even dim a light like there's any draw at all when moving the toggle. My vent windows need new seals too. Did you buy a kit for the windows?
They make a spray lube for windows tracks, don't know what it's called, it leaves no residue on the glass and works awesome... I'll ask my son tomorrow what it is, I know he used some on my Saturn and the windows fly up now.
