Coming back with an update. While I still say I have noticed no power change, gas mileage is another story. 7 tanks of gas prior to to timing advance yielded me 12.5 mpg. I just checked my 6 tanks of gas after the timing advance. And... 15.1 mpg.

Going up more than 20% is not bad at all.

Sounds like most of you have SBF engines. What are some of the gains you've seen on the 460? I did my spark plugs, rotor, and cap less than a year ago (maybe 3000 miles on them) and it was PITA to get the plugs nearest the firewall out. Only thing left is to get a new coil and I'd be ready for the 6-liter tune up, but is it worth the hassle since I won't be needing new spark plugs for quite a while (I think they may also be platinum, but I'm not sure)

You should have a similar computer setup as the SBF, So i think you'll be fine. I know some older 460 had vacuum advace. Your in a whole different ballgame there.
