Doesn't Ford say if you separate the standpipes, then you should replace them?

they say if you remove them... but.... there really is no need we reuse them all the time and I have yet to have any issues related to it. Not even a cut o-ring. not saying it cant happen but Ive done a whole lot of injectors over the years.

Thanks cheezit. After I read your post and got home, 10 minutes and I had the other 3 injectors out. Man those back two injectors on the passenger side are a SOB. Now I'm on the drivers side. This is no easy task. If the motor were out of the truck, this is prolly a 1 hr job. In the truck, givin the work space, lol this is my 2nd day, going on the 4th hour.
