Well I modeled the bed off of a Dodge from Pirate, went a little different route with it, not sure on the tailgate yet. I was going to make a tailgate using pieces from my old one and then I was thinking about making a spare tire gate. Still up in the air.

I've been real busy!
Here it is all painted, ready to go on. I didn't really worry about the deck because it will be bedlined once it's on. This truck should be done Sunday, then starting the SAS

how about a tailgate off of a old stepside box? like 70's-80's? they should be fairly narrow and they have the old school "ford" stamped on them....i've always wanted to add a couple letters and make my tailgates say " floored"

I don't know... I hate to say this ... Its looking good, but I would have like to see something different on the fuel neck set up. Maybe even take the raised cover all the way to the front of the bed? I'm just not to sure on that big opened ended box a few inches down from the front.

No sides just the tubing?

Maybe its me I kind of thought you were going to skin the floor and sides.

I was going to do the sides but the cutting and welding became overwhelming, this project has gone on too long. It was becoming too heavy also. I couldn't think of any other way to do the fuel neck this seemed to be the only solution and it might not work so I might just put a door in the bed and make it flush

It's done. Just gotta mount the bumper and the lights

looking good! now you just need some tint and those SS's mounted on black rims. Im having a feeling that you might have to move your exhaust for those tires though
