do i have ABS?
well the other day i blew a brake line and found a new idiot light on my dash. the ABS light came on. all winter i was having fun with my truck and dont remember any ABS action from the wheels. so why do i have a light if i dont have ABS?

Odds are your truck is like my 97, rear ABS only. The ABS light should come on each time you turn the key to on , before you get to the start position. Having lived in Minnesota you're correct the ABS ain't worth squat on slippery surfaces.
