What does the connector for the switch look like? If it's a square, 4-wire connector, I remember you saying it's a 4 position which makes me think you're out of luck with us.

hey bud, with the different PCM's the chips are not interchangeable. They have to be programmed to your PCM code or you risk screwing your PCM up. If I were you, I wouldn't plug it in again before it was re-tuned because getting your PCM re-flashed at ford is not a cheap venture. That's my just my $.02... I talked to alot of guys online about a year ago about this because I wanted to get a diff. chip for my truck and they all told me that you need to have the correct one for your PCM code or else you could clear or fry it. I wish I could find the posts for you but I dont even remember what site I was on, either powerstroke.org or powerstrokenation...

cody its a round switch and i have no idea how many wires are int it. and powerstroked my dad bought it off ebay from a guy. and i dont think bully dog is a personal chip its a generic chip that works on all obs psd. the type of transmission is the only variable bully dog uses for its chips. but i have given up on thatchip and am waiting to have enough money to get a php. i have heard a lotof good things about them and i like their coices of tunes better than the other two i have looked at. i just ordered tthe tru-cool tranny cooler and now need a pyro and then i get the chip.
