It was a great day today, nice weather and productive.
I agree, finished installing a 3.55 axle in my half ton. Had a 3.08 in it, I was hoping for more oommph with the switch but it's not bad. We'll see what it's like in the fall when it gets the 3.73's.
i vote jim#2 into citizenship. the burning question for me, is do we recognize his dual citizenship here and in NJ???
dave- my wifes thoroughbred will load onto anything if she is leading him. for the not so easy ones....the horse will always load but how much stress, manpower, and abuse is needed to get it on? things are different now and respect for animals has become a point of paramount significance.
how is everyone this fine evening? im enjoying a dinner of leftover stag food!
dave- the very expensive and larger trailers (think polo teams) have air suspension. the vast majority of trailers are leaf sprung with a central cantilever, or use torsion bars.
the hitch doesnt transfer much jarring to the trailer, so an air ride gooseneck is extremely uncommon but not unheard of. the polyurethane drawbars are a joke, and i have never seen one in use at the MX track or the horse shows. you will see a lot of bumper pull trailers using weight distributing hitches, they do a great job of smoothing the "ocean motion" out.

I vote we recognize Jim's dual citizenship. That way I can still stay at his house in Jersey.
Well after talking to Aaron about it, he seemed to think im on the right path. He was going to check with some people he knows and ask them. The biggest problem i had was really the smallest one but it just had me hung up. I guess i just needed to hear from someone else i was ok. I should state this is all over the rear shocks for my truck. I guess this is what Hotrods are about! My biggest problem is my self, no matter what im doing i have to have it just right, from building a dog house to this truck.
