...wifey nixed the manual tranny, so it looks like it has to be an auto (apparently horses need a smooth ride.....?) looking in the $15,000 or less range.
Aaron, how did the farmers back when trucks first came to the masses tote their horses around?
There was only a manual transmission and unpaved roads.
Hi Jim aka ArdWrknTrk, my day is going along fine TY.
I have the place to myself again, and this time with the substation down for expansion construction there is no chance the station will get dispatched tonight.

What are you doing over there?
Adding more turbines?
Well, just got home from doin another few hundred bails this afternoon. The first field today had bails that were much better in weight(around 50lbs.), but the second field was much more like yesterday's. Needless to say, I am a little worn out this afternoon. It didn't help that we had to throw the bails higher into the hay loft!
Hope everybody had a good day, and has a nice night.

The Turbines are on my side of the fence, the substation guys are uprating the facility so that a couple years in the future we can change out our turbines for more powerful units.
Just as with cars & trucks there is a used market for turbines.
