My truck has gotten between 18 and 19 MPH on the highway since I bought it new. I think mine being a regular cab helps due to the lower weight.

Drove from Paso Robles, CA to Laguna Niguel, CA (rural hwy and I-5) a few days ago, 255 miles and I got 20.2mpg.

I just returned home and the gauge is pretty close to where it was on the way down, so I am hoping the mpg's are about the same for the return trip.

I have a 2004 SCREW with a 4.6 with 3.55 gears.

17.1 is what I got the other day when I brought my new truck home. 2004 FX4 supercab with 18's and 3.73's. That was mostly 2 lane road at around 65 mph, and a bit of interstate at 75 mph. I had my foot in it a few times. My '02 usually got about 13-14 mpg's. Same setup except it had 17's and 3.55's.
