REDLINE

What's the redline on an '90 v-10? My tach doesn't have one.

Can't help you with a '90, but my 2005 can't redline because the computer limits the revs to about 5200.

They did not make the V10 until 1999.

You don't really have to worry about the redline. There are neutral and drive liiters that will not let the engine over rev. In reality though the engine would not have a problem spinning 6k rpm but it will be out of its useable powerband at that rpm.

Actually 1997, but they were only available in the E-series vans until the SD came out in '98 as a '99 model...

The con rods would. You're really pushing your luck at anything over 5700 with the OEM powdered metal rods on a 5.4L or 6.8L.
