Which is easier when replacing clutch
Is it easier to pull the motor or back the trans and transfer case out of the way. Truck has alot of lift with plenty of room under it,but this will be a first on 7.3. Truck is a 94 f-350 4x4 cc. Thanks for any suggestions

Definately drop the tranny and trans case. Drop them together too. Put one jack under the tab near the drain plug. and another smaller kack under the trans case. 2 Person job. I did one last weekend. It was my third

Thanks Neal. I live in southwest mo. and have been pricing clutchs I think I want to go with a southbend. I have some prices all in the 600. range is that pretty close to what you have had to give for them

i have removed my tranny three times, i have no transfercase but have slid the tranny back and lowered it to the ground, two people job, note i believe the bolts that hold the tranny onto engine are torks head, and youll have to lower the trans and case, as to create an angle to reach the upper two bolts . ive even put a jack under the oilpan to help that out.
