my latest project: dump bed
I sure like that dump bed. I probably have enough hours shoveling old roofing shingles, dirt, wood chips, grass, lava rock, sand, Horse Manure, ect out of the bed and trailer that I could have built one or two. That would be awesome to just sit in the cab, press a button and do a couple hours work in a couple minutes, expecially with them Shingles and lava rocks, They don't shovel out very well. One roof I did, the shingles wore old and came off in little chunks. Took like 4 hours to empty one load in the hot summer sun. I'm Jealous!
Thanks.I looked around for a while picking out the perfect shade of green. One day I spotted this mid 2000's mini cooper of all things, sporting the shade I was after.Got online and found it it be called British racing green metallic. The black center I had already planned cus I knew black goes so well with green.
my latest project: body work
Oh I feel your pain.I went years without a dump before finally getting this one.I never take it for granted just how nice a good dump is.Worth their weight in gold.Which is why I didn't mind so much putting another couple grand into it with fresh sides and deck.It stings but I've gotten over it.I remember how nice it is to hit the button, sometimes a few times a day plus, the fact the bed goes with me to the next truck,so.I'll basically just repair/alter it indefinitely.
I actually have a dump on my F450 as well, though it needs some more repair/fabrication to work.I really need to get on this and get this truck finished this year.Just those couple things (though big expenses) body work/paint and dump bed repair.
