Now this might be one of those left hand right hand drive things. Im ready to place my T in the heater hose but my setup seems to be different from the one Im following here Coolant changing instructions... - Diesel Forum - TheDieselStop.com
Here are my two hoses coming from my passenger side which is your driverside
One goes to here
and one to here which is at the rear of the block my passenger side (your driverside)
Can I tap into the one in front of the hpop or do I have to try and get to the one at the rear of the block
You don't need a flush tee -- in fact, I would suggest you DON'T flush it with a hose. Just keep emptying and refilling with distilled until it starts draining clear, and you're done.
Thanks guys got it sorted, Tapped into the rear hose up near the firewall. Left the T in there for future flush. And at $45 for 20ltrs of distilled water I will stick with the hose for the flush, our water is very clean here. I doubt very much any one with these trucks use distilled water at all over here.
next problem. heater hose not getting hot. degas bottle staying clear (no green) and heater not blowing hot air. i have turned fan on switched over to full red and put vent on forward vent. I can here the aircon cutting in, is that right. I have never used the heater since I had the truck. lol.
