My 300K thread
I bought the truck in 2000 with 10K miles on it.
Yes, I have had the normal maintenance items that have needed to be replaced.....
2 water pumps
2 cps's
6 alternators
4 serp belts
6 batteries
every damn o-ring on the engine (I hate Leaks!!!)
4-6637's, and then got smart and bought the AFE Big Boost Filter.
I have gotten rid of the stock fuel bowl, done the intank and prepump mods and have been running a FASS fuel pump and a DFA fuel system for 70K miles. I have been running a Van turbo with an ATS compressor housing for 50K miles.
I still have my stock HPOP, and factory IPR. I did replace the non serviceable plug this weekend due to a leak, and went ahead and re- ringed the IPR since I had it out.
I still have my factory tranny, completley stock, except for the line pressures that Jody adjusted during live tuning.
I have been through 4 sets of front rotors, 3 sets of shocks, have had to replace 1 drivers side unit bearing, and just found out that my drivers lower ball joint is starting to show wear and will need to be replaced in the next few weeks.
I have found that the oil cooler rebuild is NO DAMN FUN when its 30*, unless you remove the fender liner, DOH!
Oh yeah, I have had some sort of power adder on this truck since 2001. In 2001 I had a Bullydog power puck (basically a 10K mod), then I upgraded to the Bullydog Power Pup downloader in 2005, but none can compare to the one and only DP-Tuner, especially after live tuning.
Here is the mandatory pic.

I miss driving my truck. And on 120r tune, I think it's faster then the stock 96 gt auto mustang I'm driving currently.
