It'll just slide off, but might require some force.

I had to hit mine with the back side of a splitting maul. Took a few hits, but they popped off. I hit them from the front..doesn't matter which side you hit them from...they pop off. Use some never seize on the hubs of new ones.

2WD front rotor is one piece hub and rotor!!!!!!!!!

After spending eight hours banging and heating up my rotors in an attempt to remove them, I realized it was a one piece unit. Advance auto never asked me 2wd vs 4 we. Counter guy sold me 4wd. Had to take them back to get correct ones for my 2wd truck. I went ahead and replaced wheel bearings and spindle nut/washer while I had it apart.

2007 f250 xlt 2wd 6.0

Check and make sure there is not a screw holding the rotor to the hub. On some vehicles, there is a screw that will hold the rotor to the hub and is located on the face of the rotor, usually between the stud holes.

I can't figure out how to get my front brake rotors off to replace them. I removed the caliper and thought the rotors should just come right off but they didn't? I then pulled the hub out and there was a retaining ring with a good size nut behind it , but you shouldn't have to remove the hubs to remove the brake rotors should you?

The stats of the truck are 04 f250 4wd w/manual hubs!

Thanks in advance!
