The only gain from the F250 TTB is bigger brakes, it's still a D44 based system, still the same size axle shafts, same size ball joints, and a much harsher ride.
I don't believe that you can use f250 dana 44hd outer on a f150 dana 44, i looked into it, but everything i read said no.
But, it is possible to get the outers from a 69-82(or so) 4x4 chevy 3/4ton suburban and use the spindle, caliper mounts, outer axle shaft, hub, rotor and caliper. You get the 8 on 6.5 lug pattern and HUGE chevy 1-ton brakes. It works great for me.
