Talking HERE IS A LITTLE BS

A young family moved into a house, next to a vacant lot.

One day, a construction crew turned up to start building a house on the empty lot.

The young family's 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and spent much of each day observing the workers.

Eventually the construction crew, all of them "gems-in-the-rough," more or less, adopted her as a kind of project mascot.

They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had coffee and lunch breaks and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important.

At the end of the first week, they even presented her with a pay envelope containing ten dollars.

The little girl took this home to her mother who suggested that she take her ten dollars "pay" she'd received to the bank the next day to start a savings account.

When the girl and her mom got to the bank, the teller was equally impressed and asked the little girl how she had come by her very own pay check at such a young age.

The little girl proudly replied, "I worked last week with a real construction crew building the new house next door to us."

"Oh my goodness gracious," said the teller, and will you be working on the house again this week, too?"

The little girl replied, "I will, if those as*!#!es at Home Depot ever deliver the fu*#'ng sheet rock..."

Go for it Scotty.

I just added my pin to the map. Excellent idea! If we have a party, lets do it in College Station. It's a 3 hour drive for the DFW folks and a 2.5 to 3 hour drive for the Houston Area people and, unfortunately, a 9 hour drive for our brother in Abilene.

Ah I'll be working at the shop this weekend. We have a alternator R&R, engine build, top end rebuild, fuel tank r&r, engine diagnosis job, ect. No fords at the shop I work on weekends, all nissan/toyota rear wheel drive. Maybe I will find time to throw my f150 on the lift and do a toe alignment/oil change/diff fluid change, chassis lube. I still want to go to the junkyard to get tailgate cables or early model hinges, auto part stores want 10$+ each!

Headed to the lake this morning. Taking the boat out for a little fun. Might still be a little cold on the water. Guess I will figure out today.

dad pulled a few crappie out of summerville, still had some eggs. I've been wanting to get a boat, lack of funds currently. Got my truck up on the lift and did a chassis lube, oil change, differential top off, and a few belts. About to head out to spring/249 to go 4 wheeling with my xgf.

Helper almost cut the tip of my thumb off, good thing we had a safety meeting on tools last month. Nice to see people paying attention.

Something tells me you should have safety meetings a little more often.
