302 HO with alot of goodies. C6 & a 208. Solid axle 44 up front 9" out back. 5.13 gears.

I didn't get the cross member made yet. I did however get to the steel shop to pick up some tubing.

3x3" .250 wall for the cross members.

Also some .250" wall round tubing to make some sort of traction bars.

I will start on that as soon as I get all that dang mud cleaned off...

Had some time to work on this lately. Got the rear cross member done. Still have to make one for the front, and something for shock mounts. Then I can start cutting up the bed

Well I shortened the wheel base, so i am going run just the shortened bed sides with some sort of tubing holding it all together.

Worked on the bed sides today. Here is a picture of the sides off, and marked where they need to be cut.

i know this is kind of an old thread, but i wanna do this same thing on my truck this summer.
anyway.. i got a question
how far forward exactly did you move the shackles and how did you measure it?
