Thanks to my new mbrp exhaust i have to reinstall my pyrometer probe.. before this exhaust i had it post turb. now i want to put it pre turbo.. if i put it in the up pipes do i need the clamps or can i still drill and tap the pipe. if i can drill and tap do i need to worry about the flakes getting into my turbo?
I drilled the up-pipe, tapped, and installed the adapter & pyro sensor with the truck on a lift. Almost all of the shavings will fall out -- any inside will blow out through the turbo.
No need for a BH here in AUS. Just a stock one bro. It needed a rebuild so I got it coated was I there. That was done about 4 mths ago.. I will be building a new motor in next 6 mths
