Steve, engine is looking good. Starter is easier than a FE, it is on the front of the engine, just brlow the oil filter. That is what was the problem, change oil filter, the oil runs into the starter.
Thanks Allen, I got the primer on yesterday. It's all one color now! Had a helper to get take the paper off and put it back together.
Your right, Doesn't seem like a good place for the starter.
Thanks all, I was feeling pretty good about how it's looking until I took the paper off the windows. The tan dash and doors just don't look right...guess what's next! Might as well install the keyless entry while I have the doors apart. We get spoiled by the newer gadgets!
I told myself that I wasn't going to do all that stuff to this truck, but kinda hard to break old habits. Kinda like you and making yours go faster! LOL!

I find myself reaching for the keypad for my wife's keyless entry sometimes when I walk to the truck. Doesn't help that the only door that my key works in is the driver door. Different lock on the passenger side. I think I'll have to do keyless entry on mine at some point just to make it easier...

I have to walk all the way around the truck to lock it now!! LOL!!!!! I did switch the door locks and ignition awhile back so one key works on everything. I put the new key on the keypad when I changed it. Told myself it would be easer to find that way, but was probably the evil me planning ahead.I don't know how easy it is to do on the newer trucks, but shouldn't be too bad. You might get the alarm shop to sell you a kit or even put it in for you.
