that is exactly what I want to avoid LOL. Gues I'll have to carry around 5 gal. just to be safe till I get it figured out. but with all you smart people helping this newb I'll be golden fast

Well, as I HAVE to carry 2 spares, being as my fronts are stock F150 5 lug, and the rears are F350 8 lug, my second spare is mounted in the bed just behind the passenger side wheel well. Dunno if it's stock, since I I cant look at the mounting points with the cheapo plastic bed liner in the way. LMC does sell bed mount tire carriers for these though.

I just mounted my spare on hte passanger side of the bed near teh cab. My C-Clamp is holding it nicely for now

bah! quit being lazy, use some arithmetic and calculate it. Its what I do, my gas gauge hasnt worked since i got my truck. and by calculating you get more accurate results

LAZY yeah right. LOL I dont really care about hte MPG so much as the when am I getting close to running out of gas. Heck i havent evem looked to see if the odometer ever works
