need help! fuel gauge dont work!
I have a 1986 f150 shortbed with a carbureted 302. I put the wiring out of a 1984 f150 just like it in it and now my fuel gauge doesnt work. I think either a wire is broken or isnt plugged up but i cant find it. What color should the wire(s) be that make the fuel gauge work in the dash?

Here's the wiring diagram. The wire is yellow/white. If you go back to the fuel tank sending unit, take the wire off, and with the key in run, engine off, touch the wire to ground and then take it off ground, this should make the fuel gauge go full scale back and forth.
