It sure is! It's unbelievable what Jay has done for the FE community. Can't wait for his book to come out later this year. It will have every FE intake dyno tested with various FE powerplants.

As for the S, T and the earlier C4 4 barrels, it's just in that order S scored the lowest, then T then the C4.

Yes, Jay Brown will have every aspect of the FE covered, from the history, to modifications to every engine combo dynoed, including heads, intakes, exhausts manifolds/ headers to even mufflers!

It's a good thing he has his own machine shop and dyno!

Steve had singlehandedly "dumbed" down the FE engine until the internet came along. That book is so wrong it would smother a bonfire.

Steve messed up nearly every casting number pertaining to the FE is number one. It didn't help he did NO research when compiling his LIST of casting numbers, he just regurgitated what the innacurate magazines had printed at the time.

That's why everyone who sees a C6ME casting ona block automatically assumes it's a 428, even though every 390 of the time period also had C6ME casting codes.

FE's are hard to kill, they're a real workhorse of a motor, that phrase gets thrown around a lot but FE's actually stand up to the bravado unlike a lot of other motors, i had a 360 that was longggg past its expiration date, low (read virtually no) compression, burned oil (quart a week), wicked knock, etc. the 360 was in a running parts truck, i ran that thing for seven years on nothing but 6qts. of straight Lucas (motor honey) and it never failed me once, sold the truck last year for 500 bucks and the dude is still driving it as is, FE's rule!
