Exactly. I ran the truck pretty hard the day before for 3-4 hours and didn't have a problem.
i wouldn't think the clutch itself is shot unless you've been slipping it a lot. mine still lasted quite a ways. if it does crap out on you on the drive back you can still drive it without the clutch if you have to. you should know how to make that happen... just sucks that it happened. i figured the bearing would be screwed big time, but not the clutch itself. call and talk to DAN tomorrow. tell him what happened and tell him what the clutch is doing. You might be surprised at how well Valair customer service is. at least you don't have much to replace. just bearings and possibly the clutch disc, but that's not too bad. the expensive part is the pressure plate and flywheel probably. doubt you would need a new pressure plate, but he may want you to change it anyways. then you gotta get the flywheel resurfaced... what a PITA..
