94 F150 dash

So my friend has a 94 and he want to replace the radio in it but he cant figure out how to get the dash off. Any ideas on how to take it off? Thank you.

get tools for removal, get wiring adapter set, get new radio.

have him buy a repair manual.

brute force is not always needed.

also the SEARCH FUNCTION is helpful with questions like this.

Does he also pull the engine to change the air filter?

No but he drops the tranny to change to oil and takes the body off the frame to change his tires. He also sands down to the primer to wash the truck. So I think he has it covered just having a couple problems with the radio.
