Has anyone heard if this will be a one time smog or an annual thing? I haven't seen anything on that. Here in Siskiyou county we only have to smog our gassers once, hoping the diesels will be there same.
In Kalifornia we have to smog our gassers every other year. I suspect the same for the Diesels.
Yeah, thanks. All that crud goes up into the air and comes over here into New York
Just like coal-fired power plants emitting mercury halfway across the country have all fouled our NY lakes.
But I digress.
We don't test in Michigan but I would bet most, except for a few exceptions have all their emission equipment hooked up and properly operating. When we did test I had a 79 Bronco, 429, 460 heads, and it passed. I don't think we were the problems of your lakes because ours in fact have gotten a little cleaner. And we do have a fair amount of fresh water around us. I think our biggest polluting problems are in fact emerging nations who don't know what emission controls are, now that even scares me.
