I am a member on the older truck forum and I have a question from my son for you guys.
His truck is an 06 F350 4x4 with a diesel. His buddies have told him that in california it is now required to smog his truck when registering it. Is this true?
Hooray Michigan and no smog testing!! I pull cats and resonators on pretty much everything I own - I get better mileage and a bit more power. I love it. Other states can BITE ME.

Yeah, thanks. All that crud goes up into the air and comes over here into New York
Just like coal-fired power plants emitting mercury halfway across the country have all fouled our NY lakes.
Living in Poland at the time, I inhaled some of radioactive clouds coming from Chernobyl.
There is a limit how far you want to accept pollution.
Per my research CA test is visual only. They make sure no major components (like cats) are alerted and plug in scanner to make sure there are no codes.
I hope I can slip through with my 15k GVW, although my truck is all stock. Good for this year.
BTW I don't glow in the dark
Has anyone heard if this will be a one time smog or an annual thing? I haven't seen anything on that. Here in Siskiyou county we only have to smog our gassers once, hoping the diesels will be there same.
