head swap question

will the heads off of an 89 mustang 302 work on a 88 f150 302 and if so do i need to change rockers, pushrods, or anything else

They're the exact same heads so don't bother if you're doing this for an upgrade, but if you need heads because yours are worn then yes it's a direct swap with no other changes necessary.

Yes and your stock valve train parts should be fine.

the truck keep overheating and the head or head gasket is the only thing that we havent changed. it only overheats after it has been running for like 45 minutes

what kinda fan and radiator are you running and what temp Tstat?

if you had a head gasket leak or cracked head you should see evidence on the spark plugs or stains on the block.
