how hard would it be to make my truck take an efi style motor???

Once you collect all the parts it's not too difficult. As long as you're comfortable with electrical systems. I'm in the middle of an EFI swap now. With a Mustang harness there are only eight or ten electrical connections to the truck, the rest is standalone. I'm going to have to splice some of it to fit the truck engine bay, but no worries there.

Doing it for $250 won't be easy, you'll pay $150 for a MAF EEC and harness alone. If you're lucky. I'm probably in $800 so far and still shopping for a throttle body and EGR.

The biggest hassle so far has been figuring out the tanks, fuel lines, pumps, and selector switch, etc.

well what im gonna do is if i go efi imma have a 2 grand budget (with out motor)and ill have everything on switches and ill get a mega squirt ECU to control the efi and spark..my friend can program it
