Your truck does look a little higher than normal.
Is your truck a 4x4 or a Two Wheel Drive?
Never Mind, I decoded the VIN, It's a 4x4. I answered my own stupid question
I can't tell ya how high it should be....
One of my Brochures says 49"...
So finally got around to replacing the trackbar bushing...
After I got the whacked out cotter pin out, This is what I found...
Good a time as any to use this icon
Installed new bushing...
How about that...I can steer again.
I'll tackle the other end tomorrow. I don't have a wrench big enough to turn that other nut! Sounds like a good enough excuse to buy more tools
So the truck tried to kill me yesterday...driving away out of the parking lot I think "Hmmm I smell gas...better check it out." I jump out, pop the hood and there is gas spraying out of the fuel filter all over the place! I think "OH NO!! Fire imminent!" So I run back around cut the engine and there I sat until a buddy of mine brought over a new filter... Another day in the story of this truck...
Something like that...Today, new brake cylinders and shoes on the rear. I'll do the fronts next saturday. Goes pretty easy when you buy the tools to do it right! I'm gonna need a bigger tool box by the time i'm done!
