So after camping at the job site when she broke down, I have now fixed the electrical gremlins in the alternator, fixed the rubber steering coupler that broke when I had to push her back off the road and into the job site. Installed new battery terminals, and put the starter that it appears some one tried to steal . The bolts were all backed off almost all the way out!
So now she's safe at home and there is a can of sea foam and a box of new track bar bushings sitting on the counter waiting for tomorrow.

Sounds like you've been through HELL. I hope it all works out in the end
yeah but at the same time bosses sometimes know you have to get your ride driveable to keep working. I've had to help a few of my guys with thiers. It is unexpected, but happens.
Lol, it wasn't a boss I was worried about... I oversee about 150 construction tradesmen and if you've ever worked in construction you know how brutal the ribbing can be from the subs when it looks like the boss is slacking off.
In any case, It's good to be back on the road again, though I did enjoy driving the Jeep around for a few days...the weather here has been wonderful.
OH yeah. I own a Commercial Plumbing company here in Texas, but when they think I am "slacking off" I tell them it is because you make me enough money to.
I took a ride over to the local junk yard and was able to pick up a tailgate free of any major rust, a gauge bezel, dash pad, f-100 badges, window felts, and a window crank assembly for a whopping $47.00!!
