edge juice,,,,,,,,,,

hey i got an edge juice with attitude and installed it. im keeping it on mode 1 the eco setting. i wont go over that cause i dont want to blow anything. i have plans in the future to stud and delete and upgrade the tranny. i mainly got the mod to show me boost, egt, so on. is this low setting going to hurt anything?? ive herd things about these wrecking TS trannys. but im not running in extreme.. any imput?? thanks

I've read the same thing. Death toll for t.s. trannies. However it's your tranny. Run it if you have the replacement money.

If you mainly got it to show you those parameters, then just set it to "0" and use it as gauges only. Why would you take the chance even in the lowest setting when you can still have the gauges that you want at a level that doesn't change HP/TQ output?

Personally there are other devices that I consider alot better then that particular Edge product, but they do cost more.

I know a guy who ran his on 1 "just for the gauges" that finally removed it after he installed the third tranny. He's always beat that poor truck to death and still does, but he's still running on that 3rd trans.

I ran one back in the day, and towed with it in level 2 for about 20K miles. It did fine like that. If I turned it up any higher, the tranny wasn't happy at all.

If you were interested in gages I would have gone with the Edge Insight for about half the cost. The Edge Juice doesn't come highly recommended among those who are tuner savvy.

ya I dumped mine and got the insight ,, it has more diagnostics and data logs ,, you can sell the edge you have now for more than the insight cost ,, then get a real tuner that loads the custom tunes when your ready
