unfortunatly if we want to give folks the right to throw themselves through the windows we also have to give the ambulance drivers the right to check their insurance cards before thay load them up, or it gets awfull expesive to keep a hospital open

When they passed the law your kids could still ride in the bask of an open pickup, and that was a popular way to travel. they can still ride in the back as long as you have a 1/16 shell on it. I have ridden a bike of some sort all my life, bought my first one when I was 9 years old, so the safety reason and hospital cost is an old and moot argument, it is about freedom plain and simple.
