DRL's can be programmed to turn on (this is standard in Canada, as i understand it)
but it will run your low beams at a reduced output, not your side markers.
if you want your amber markers on as DRL's, you will have to get fancy with some wiring.
A SPDT relay and a switched source of power will get you there, but there's nothing from the factory that will get you what you are wanting.

gotcha....Guess I'll skip it don't really want my HID's running all day. its nice though when I open my door, the fog lights and ambers come on while truck is running. Wish that could be all the time

If you have HID's the amber signal lights can be turned on as DRL I think.

it would be a dealer thing.
i didn't realize you had HID's, so the DRL's might be your amber markers, IDK.
HID's can't run at reduced power, so they don't use them as DRL's.
maybe one of our canadian friends is reading and can tell us?
