HPOP swap

I was wondering how hard it is to change a 95 hpop to one off of a 99 or newer and what is the advantages of this. Or might go with an adrenaline pump from diesel site just wondering what would be the best for the money

Send Joey at Terminator engineering a email. He does the mods to change from a 15* to a newer 17* pump.
Basically puts teh newer internals into your stock pump housing. About half the price of the adrenaline, although the adrenaline is a great product from what I hear.

I was going to order the adrenaline since I'm running out of oil at wot. Maybe I'll send joey an email too if he's half the price. I thought the adrenaline was pretty reasonably priced though. I'm going to try and wait til the next winter rolls around for my oil pump switch. I figured I'd do electric fuel at the same time, take more advantage of the bigger oil.Truck will be too busy now to get into that so hopefully everything will work ok. I guess if I keep throwing a cel when I start pulling the race car trailer I may have to do at least the oil sooner.

Chris, I think thats the link I copied off before to use but I'm not positive cause its at the shop so I bookmarked it again to make sure. Real good info in there.

I thought there was some sort of issue with using a 96 and newer hpop on a 95 and older 7.3? Isn't there some sort of drain back issue which is why people get the original hpop redone by Joey? Maybe I am thinking of a totally different problem.

Yes, the '95 and older HPOP has a anti-drainback valve in it that the 96+ ones don't.

Joey can swap the 17* internals into the old case and keep the anti-drainback in there.

The adrenaline pumps can be ordered in either the old style or new style.

Also from what I have heard is the early 99 hpop are only 15* and the 99.5 and after are 17*.
