Leno, O'brien, McGwire
Jay, you are great, but its time to move on.
Conan, I guess you are in a cutthroat business.
Mark, be a man. Own what you did.
With everything going on in the world, we have to listen to crybaby celebs talk about how tough their lives are. Its no wonder I'd rather watch Spongebob with my kids.

Jay Leno - I don't blame him for wanting to be able to spend (more) time with his wife, and do something else.
O'Brian - Not funny, unless you count 'looks'. Don't get me wrong. . . I am NO beauty contest winner.
See ya, Conan. I never watched ya, anyway.
(Don't watch NBC. . . period!)
McGwire - Two opinions on the gent. (And one for 'good measure'.)
1. Shouldn't have used 'roids' to break record. Gives baseball a 'black eye'.
2. Set an example. Be HONEST about all of it!
3. IF baseball let's McGwire's record 'stand', let Pete Rose into the Hall of Fame, or BAN McGwire from baseball, too.
Call it ETHICS.
Conan is so much more entertaining than Jay ,It could just be the looks , I dont know or care.
Baseball has no ethics at all , everybody knew what was going on for twenty years or more. Without roids Mcguire is not in HOF discussion. 230 homers in eight years followed by 238 homers the next four years. That is double the production coinciding with his admitted roid use. Without that doubling of production his numbers arn't even close to HOF period. All of that being said I say let em all in the hall of fame ,We as fans can decifer the numbers and we all ready do . No one was throwing 100mph heaters to Babe Ruth, and I don't think he or any of the rest of the 'old time' legends faced a single black person in their MLB career , the game has changed a few times, roll with it and embrace the changes . Can we punish Mcguire for coming clean, I dont think so.

Goodby, Conan, and good riddance. Can't stand his brand of smarmy "humor".
Steroids - are we ever gonna hear the end of them? Started with the East German women swimmers in the '76 Olympics. I'm sick of it, don't care if McGuire gets in HOF or not. If only the Royals had taken more steriods.....
As for McGwire, and all the other steroid abusers, they would look so much better if they admitted what they did. I hate when they say "yes I took steroids, but..." They all knew what they were doing. Its my opinion that he cheated and doesn't deserve to be in the HOF.
As for McGwire... well, it's good that he finally admitted what he did, and he should be commended for owning up to it. But, in my opinion, the use of steroids to improve performance runs contrary to the best interests of the game of baseball, and I feel like anything he did under the influence of steroids should colour any consideration of him ever being Hall of Fame material. Baseball players should be above suspicion, always. Gambling and drug use should be dealt with in the strongest possible way, and if that means lifetime bans and no Hall of Fame membership, then let it be done, I say.
I think baseball needs another commissioner like the first one, Judge K.M. Landis. He ruled the game with an iron hand. Trouble is, the owners would never stand for a "strong" commissioner these days, because if they were to lose their star players for some infraction, it would cut into their profit margins.

As far as McGuire, Big Pappy, Ramirez, Clemons and all of the other "superstars" that used performance enhancing substances, they can all kiss my A$$! They can all cry little girls if they want to.
I love the game of baseball. These people are supposed to be role models for the youth sports fanatics of the world and they let all these kids and us adult fans down.
Even with the all the steroid use, baseball is still more law abiding then football and basketball.

Conan was funnier when he was on later now he just isn't.
NBC just needs to find some totally new late night show people, although I doubt anyone will watch even if they do.
