Help identifing correct timing marker

Hi there, I just need help identifying where exactly on this timer marker to adjust my timing marks with, should it be point A, the notched area or the tip at point B. This exact marker isn't in any of my reference manuals and I want to make sure I have it right. This is on a 88 F150 xlt lariat, 5.0L V8. Thanks!

Make sure you have the SPOUT jumper plug out when you set your timing--that's how you disable the computer advance. If it's not out, you won't get it timed correctly.
