I have some parts that are taking up space. Was going to sell the stuff but have no idea what I should sell it for. Could you guys help me with the value of the parts I got. ZF 5 speed from a 89 F250 2 wheel drive thats a bell for a 7.3 diesel and a dana 70 rear. Both work great. What should I ask for the parts?
Thats kinda what I heard to but then posted it all for sale thinking it would sell over night on craigslist and Ive had it all for 2 weeks now. Ugh. I keep tripping on the damn thing lol. I guess I will just hold out and wait then. Thanks
That's because it's got the bolt pattern for the diesel, if you had a ZF with the small block housing, you'd have been beating people off with a stick. It's definitely worth hanging on to, though and selling, rather than scrapping. There's a classifieds section on here, I believe...

Post it for sale on here and at Oilburners.net (bot sites have "for sale" setions) and someone may take it off your hands rather quick, lotsa diesel guys with '80s trucks want a ZF to replace their 4-speed T18s and T19s.

yeah bolt patterns are different from 460 to Diesel. I have heard of someone making it work but I wouldnt want to mess a good trans up to make something like that work. The geometry of the transmissions are also slightly differnet as far as the input shafts go.
