I was interested in moderating but I have an infraction so..I am all done ! But the Rhode Island forum itenterests me the most because I never see the moderator in it! I was also thinking where is the CT forum? Was'nt there talk of a New England forum? Could'nt I just get the moderator that isnt there to recomend me since I am on this site everyday !

Once I have met all the requirements I will re-convey my interest, this site is awesome, and Ken you do an amazing job, I would be honored once I meet all the commitments/requirements to be a moderator and give something back.....as of now though I havent been a memeber long enough and am not even sure how the site completely works, nor am I an expert with Ford trucks.....so until later thanks for a good site

I'd like to moderate a forum.
Just so you know
I'd like to get my foot in the door, and I figured letting you know here would let you know

I know you said you have be recommended
But, I'd atleast like to let it be known, that way maybe they will know I want to be here.

Also, they were talking about moderating a chapter..
Does Arkansas fit in any chapter?

I guess I will have to get my act together and stop responding to flames in a negative manner. I'd like the opportunity to moderate sometime in the future and think I could be pretty fair and follow the moderators guidelines. We are all human and we have emotions.

In any case, I still have a few months to go to have been here for a year. I would eventually like to get a Montana forum going.

mtflat and I have spoken and I know he is also interested in the Montana idea.

I'd also be willing to moderate in most other forums, but am not as technical as I used to be when I did all my own work on my vehicles. These new rigs..wow....now I'm starting to sound like my grandfather.

I am a moderator of a group/club in Yahoo and have been for just about 5 years now. I have to maintain peace and order there plus take the responsibility of booting someone or banning them when they have crossed the line, so I know its not an easy choice to make. I also assigned two others to assist me, but they don't have all the privileges I have...making me the final authority in disputes, etc.

Oh yeah..I know I got off to a rocky start here due to some confusion, so I may be totally ineligible anyway. If thats the case, then I guess ya pay the piper for what ya do and I can live with it.

By the way..this is the best Ford site I have found. I signed up for another one and after checking it out for a while, I never went back. FTE is definitely first and #1.

Whil I haven't been here for the required year and I don't post alot. I do read quite a bit here. If FTE needs someone to moderate a forum please keep me in mind. I can spend more time here as needed.
Oh yeah, 'bout the only thing that gets my ire up is people taking old vehicles and chopping and lowering them. While they have the right to do as they please it erks me no end as there are not many of these left and I am a bit of a traditionalist.

I am new here and we just had a Kansas Chapter started today. My question here is how long do we have to come up with a moderator? I know there are members from Kansas that have been here awhile and one of them might be interested but since we are a new chapter I was just wondering what the timelines were.

Thanks, Rollie (fordborn)

We can take up to 3 weeks or 3 days.

Anyone who applies for the position is checked out for their posting history.
Then it is discussed in the Moderator forum and any feedback about the said user is welcomed.

Until you have an fulltime Moderator, FTE Administration watches over the forum.

Hello Dennis,
I see that alanscott is no longer moderating the big bronco forum. Can I throw my hat into the ring for that? That is where I spend most of my time (other than the exhaust forum). If you dont get around to seeing this post within a week or so, I will send you an email directly.
